Schwartz, CIA, France, Bottled Water.

Mr Schwartz, a recently defrocked doctor, is one of the supporters of Morgellons sufferers.

http://www.freenewmexican.com/news/36346.html

Schwartz said he talked to a man who said he used to work with the CIA, and the man told the doctor about a government-developed bacteria that got out of control in France. That theory would substantiate claims that Morgellons has come from bottled water from France, Schwartz said. Schwartz said he is not sure what to think of the theory that the disease comes from imported bottled water because some of his patients don’t drink bottled water

One wonders then, why there would not be more Morgellons in Europe?

Schwartz is either a quack, exploiting people's fears for money, or he simply shares and reinforces the delusions of those he "treats". Good job he can no longer pescribe medicine or peddle narcotics.

Oh, among the other leaders of this messed up thing (for lack of anything suitably appropriate to call it), would it not be great to see the results of a mental evaluation done on this one, too, as well as a drug test?

It sure looks like everyone affiliated with these morgie sufferers, in reality, deceives and exploits them to serve their own misguided agendas. They do it so shamelessly easily, too.

It's so sad that Dr. Scwhartz was once in possession of such a fine mind, and contributed so greatly to society, and that he's been reduced to whatever is wrong with him.

The writing's been on the wall all along, yet many believers continue holding Schwartz in the highest esteem.

"It seemes to me that $24.95 is a little steep for a pamphlet filled with typos and misspelled words. I've heard that his motel room visits are based on a sliding scale, up to 2000 dollars a pop. That sounds like exploitation to me."

"Dr. George Schwartz of Santa Fe, New Mexico believes the cause is the bacterium Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, which he claims is found in bottled water from France."

"In April 2006, Schwartz had his licence to practice medicine revoked by the New Mexico Medical Board for illegal prescriptions of narcotics."

In his hearing in Santa Fe Dr. Schwartz said, "I started treating this kind of strange disease, to say the least, and that requires ongoing anti-worm medications in quite a number of people."

"Schwartz said he prescribes narcotics mostly for Morgellons disease patients who suffer from severe pain syndromes, cancer, migraine headaches or injuries. He emphasized, "I am not a narcotic user. I use it for treating my patients.""

http://www.freenewmexican.com/news/36451.html

Schwartz said Morgellons treatments range from anti-worm medications , which cause the worms to leave a patient’s skin in a mass exodus, to applications of a paste made out of diatomaceous earth, a natural insecticide made of ground-up seashells. The diatomaceous-earth applications suffocate the worms and cause them to die, Schwartz said.

"Which is it, S. maltophilia or worms? What kind of worms? Now it seems that Dr. Schwartz is not only exploiting the peoples fears for financial gain, but that he is also a quack."

“I’m of the firm belief that this is the beginning of a worldwide epidemic,” Schwartz said. Doctors should be much more concerned about Morgellons disease than the bird flu, he said."

"Olague said she does not remember much of the three days Schwartz treated her for methadone dependence at the Red Roof Inn because her Morgellons disease causes her to have what she calls “brain fog.”"

"Schwartz said many of his Morgellons patients experience brain fog, which he characterizes as a general forgetfulness. He thinks it might be caused by the tiny Morgellons worms traveling through a patient’s blood to their brain and collecting there."

"Olague said she once saw a drop of her blood begin to “walk” because the tiny worms were in her blood."

"It's hard to know what another person believes. It doesn't appear that Dr. Schwarts even knows what he believes. His patient, however, is clearly suffering from delusions."

Wikipedia says...

"Diagnosis"

"The symptoms of patients presenting with Morgellons are varied, and match several other medical conditions. Frequently these symptoms are diagnosed as any of a number of conditions including:"

Scabies - an infestation of the mite Sarcoptes scabei.
Lice - an infestation of parasitic insects.
Atopic Dermatitis or Eczema - a common skin condition with various causes including stress.
Neurodermatitis - Eczema or other skin condition exacerbated by scratching
Tinea - A fungal infection of the skin or hair.
Folliculitis - An infection of the hair follicles.
Cellulitis - A skin infection.
Seborrhea - A condition due to over-active sebaceous glands
Impetigo - A rash caused by bacterial infection
Drug side effects - from overuse, or withdrawal.

"Very few doctors will offer a diagnosis of Morgellons. Sufferers generally self-diagnose after conventional treatments for the original diagnosis seem not to be working. At this point the patient is sometimes diagnosed with delusional parasitosis."

Quite a while back, as we all SHOULD KNOW it was realized that the overprescribing of antibiotics was creating new strains of resistant super-bugs. Whoops, better not use that word. I mean, "bacteria". Doc Schwartz was meeting these pitiful people in hotel rooms, not even doing any tests, and prescribing Septra to them. As you know, many morgies get meds over the internet too. As you know, also, antibiotics often cause skin problems as a side effect, and some, such as Steven Johnson Syndrome, can even be lethal. Antibiotics aren't always a good idea, especially when they aren't needed, or when the ones that fight specific pathogens are taken for something they aren't meant for.

I havn't read a single report of Septra or Septra DS curing the condition that many people refer to as Morgellons. Personally, I never expected it to work because Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isn't the cause. I think it's obvious that the anchoring flagella of S. maltophilia are far too tiny to cause the crawling sensations experienced by these sufferers.

I think it's safe to assume that Dr. Schwartz corrupted his cultures. With Septra and Septra DS inappropriate for "Morgellons", I think it's likely that its use has done little more than kill and mutate natural flora.

Leave them alone and they'll come home, wagging flagellas behind them.

"The symptoms of patients presenting with Morgellons are varied, and match several other medical conditions. Frequently these symptoms are diagnosed as any of a number of conditions including:"

Scabies - an infestation of the mite Sarcoptes scabei.
ALSO OTHER PARASITE VECTORS...DOES ONE EVER CONSIDER THE LIST OF SCABIE DIFFERENTIALS? LIKE LET'S JUST SAY HOOKWORMS FOR INSTANCE?
Lice - an infestation of parasitic insects.
AGAIN...LICE, VECTORS FOR PARASITES AS WELL AS SPIROCHETES.
Atopic Dermatitis or Eczema - a common skin condition with various causes including stress.
HOW ABOUT CUTANEOUS GRANULOMA'S...DAH.
Neurodermatitis - Eczema or other skin condition exacerbated by scratching
IF THERE WASN'T AN ITCH, ONE WOULDN'T SCRATCH!
Tinea - A fungal infection of the skin or hair.
MORGELLON'S ISN'T TINEA...TINEA GENERALLY RESPONDS NICELY TO ANTIFUNGALS...EXCEPT CERTAIN TYPES OF PEIDRA AND MYCETOMA...BUT THAT IS ANOTHER STORY ALL TOGETHER ISN'T IT FOLKS. IF YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THOSE WORDS ARE.
Folliculitis - An infection of the hair follicles.
COMEDOMES...DOCUMENTED AS IN THE ORIGINAL MANIFESTATIONS OF MORGELLONS IN THE 1600'S AND THEY STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSES IT TO THIS VERY DAY.
Cellulitis - A skin infection.
IF THIS IS A SYMPTOM FOR SOME...THEN THERE IS TRULY AN INFECTION ISN'T THERE?
Seborrhea - A condition due to over-active sebaceous glands
RIGHT...OVER-ACTIVE SEBACEOUS FOR WHAT? FOR NOTHING? OR IS THE BODY TRYING TO REALLY FIGHT SOMETHING? OR ARE WE SUPPOSE TO HUSH AND PRETEND NOTHING IS GOING ON LIKE THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS...AND SPEND TONS OF MONEY ON OVER-THE COUNTER MEDICATIONS FOR TREATING THE SYMPTOMS AND NOT THE CAUSE? LIKE WE DON'T HAVE DEMODEX EITHER DO WE?
Impetigo - A rash caused by bacterial infection
INFECTION...RIGHT THERE.
Drug side effects - from overuse, or withdrawal.
WHATEVER.

DON'T WORRY...I'LL BE BACK TO SHED SOME LIGHT ON YOUR DIM DAY WITH SOME FACTUAL DOCUMENTATION. YOU MAY ACCEPT THESE CONDITIONS AS BEING NORMAL, HOWEVER, WHEN THEY ARE BESTOWED UPON YOU AT ONCE IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME...YOU KNOW THEY ARE CONNECTED AND NOTHING OF NATURALLY OCCURRING INCIDENCES. SO WHO IS TRULY FOLLOWING THE MONEY? TREATING THE SYMPTOMS LIKE DANDRUFF, ECZEMA AND PSORIASIS OR THOSE OF US THAT KNOW WE HAVE A SKIN PARASITE THAT IS CAUSING ALL THESE SYMPTOMS...TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM LINE INSTEAD OF LIVING IN A LIE...COVERING IT ALL UP WITH MASKS FIGHTING THE SYMPTOMS AND KEEPING THE HEALTH & BEAUTY, OVER THE COUNTER POCKETS FAT?

Thanks for the caps, Carrie. That was helpful to reading what you had to say. The put-downs were a nice touch as well.

I think we're all still waiting for the "factual documentation."
